THANK YOU FOR MAKING OUR 14TH ANNUAL GOLF CLASSIC A BIG SUCCESS!
It Rained Love!
On Monday, June 27, 2022, Skyline Restoration hosted its 14th Annual Golf Classic benefiting The Skyline Charitable Foundation, at the beautiful Old Westbury Golf and Country Club, in Old Westbury, New York.
The event attracted a record-number of golfers who ignored the rainy weather forecast and came for a round of golf and the after-golf festivities, which included a cocktail hour, dinner, awards and raffles.
The fundraising event was supported by over two hundred individuals from dozens of companies who showed their appreciation for the work TSCF does through its programs and especially through the Relief Access Program for The Bronx [RAP4BRONX].
A record-breaking total of $252,738 was raised that will allow TSCF to continue its mission, to help improve the quality of life for individuals in need, both locally and internationally.
This year the donations benefit charitable programs and organizations, including but not limited to the RAP4BRONX, New York Center for Children, VFW Post 1819, Happy Watoto, Chordoma Foundation, Mount Sinai Neuro-Ophthalmology EC, and African Soul - American Heart.
The tournament came to an end earlier than expected due to the weather conditions, but the golfers managed to complete the first 9-hole course. The winning foursome (Materetsky Financial Group: Steven Materetsky, Mike Goldfarb, Phil Bellomo, Rick Chou) received the tournament trophy, with the promise to return to defend it next year.
This event would not have been possible without the hard work of our wonderful volunteers who attended every aspect of the event with smiling faces and open hearts.
A big thank you to all who attended, for your love and generosity, that made this year’s charitable Golf Classic a record-breaking success!
